Piano And All That Jazz (PAATJ) is a consultancy and subdivision of Mark Stevens Fine Pianos working with charitable organizations and accepting piano donations on their behalf. If you have a piano that is no longer being put to practical use and wish to be rid of, then PAATJ welcomes it as a donation. Before accepting a donation, the piano must first be inspected for soundness and appraised for its value. Assuming it is a viable musical instrument and given a clean bill of health, it will then be picked up by a team of professional piano movers and brought into storage. After prepping and tuning it will then be put up for sale and the charitable organization will realize the proceeds. There is no cost to you and you will receive a letter acknowledging your donation along with a copy of the appraisal. Your piano will be assigned a “fair market value” which is determined by the appraiser and may be claimed as a tax deduction. To make a piano donation then please fill out the form on this page with the manufacturer of the piano, its serial number, and photos. A representative will contact you shortly afterward.
